Thomas D. Hall Jr. Speaks at Heartland Democracy Project Event

Crawfordsville, IN. – Thomas D. Hall Jr. spoke at an event hosted by the Heartland Democracy Project today.

“One common goal we all agree on today is we want to be safe from financial hardship in hard economic times.” Hall said in his speech. “Some politicians will even tell you the economy is great right now. What kind of great economy has millions of people struggling to pay their bills, has millions of paychecks falling behind inflation, has millions of people drowning in debt? “

Hall outlined a platform focused on reducing financial strain on working families, including support for universal healthcare, higher wages, and what he describes as a modern “Second New Deal.”
